An artful mix of foraged and garden supplied ingredients. Baked Potato "Salad"

Dear Internet, here is yet another cookie recipe. These cookies are not overly sweet and they're healthy-ish. I mean they have sage leaves and almonds in them, what more could you want?

Cornbread and eggs benedict, go ahead and through those English muffins away in whatever nook and cranny you found them. 

Potato and Shiitake Gnocchi w/ Brown Butter. I think it was God who said, "dumplings>everything else." 

In my professional opinion, citrus always makes things more delicious. Okay, not always but like 87% of the time it helps. Grapefruit mixes well with most cocktail recipes (or at least my favorites) so it seemed like a natural choice for a vodka infusion post. Infusing alcohols may sound like a fancy and scary idea, but it's a really simple thing to do. Add stuff to vodka, let it sit, remove the stuff, then drink the vodka. It's so easy, 94% of your high school graduating class could figure it out

I don't know if I've conveyed this before, but I love breakfast food. Sure you can have these Smashed Fried Potatoes any time of day, but Sunday morning with coffee and a fried egg on top, it's something that can't be topped. 

I'm no Rene Redzepi, but I like to forage for my food when I can. Maybe it's just the fact that I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and I like being outside. Can you believe that there's food growing outside in the forest that you can eat for free! If you're wondering what miner's lettuce tastes like it tastes like lettuce, imagine a lighter tasting spinach, perfect for making a simple salad with. 

Valentine's Day is this Saturday and if you're not cooking a delicious meal for your significant other then you might as well just sit alone in a dark room eating a garbage bag filled with candy hearts. If you are planning on cooking, good for you, I've created a simple and elegant dish that is sure to please your sweetheart, before you please them. And if you're dating a vegetarian or a vegan you should really reevaluate your life. 

Step aside crepes, the Dutch Baby has claimed the crown of my breakfast favorite: sweet category. Why? Because it's like pancake's weird/delicious Dutch cousin...who is also a baby. It's slightly eggy, crispy, soft, and most important of all you get to drench them in lemon juice. Adding citrus to anything always makes things better. 

This is the greatest guacamole recipe you'll ever find. Four ingredients, it's is all you need, if you're using any more than four ingredients you'll end up ruining your guacamole. Simplicity is usually the right path, it doesn't matter if you're making Guacamole, roasting a chicken or designing a spacecraft to land on a comet hurdling through the void space. 

It's time once again for breakfast food, but really it's always time for breakfast food. Pheasant and Waffles topped with Spicy Miso Maple Syrup and Spicy Pickles, is everything you want and need from a breakfast dish.
